The film was re-released in the US in 1947 (copyrighted 1946) as Devil Monster, with an expanded running time of 63 minutes, achieved primarily through the addition of stock footage. UK distributors Mirror felt confident enough to offer the revised print as a 'new' film when screened in UK cinemas in 1949 (reviewed in MFB June of that year), with no mention of the previous release.
