Passed uncut for cinema in 1971. Chief censor James Ferman actively discouraged video submissions by letting it be known he would either cut or reject the film on the basis of the 'potential harm' it might cause, and it was indeed rejected on two separate occasions (both in 1999). It was finally 'approved' uncut in 2002, following Ferman's departure. The world has not ended. Funny, that.
